[Opera Mail]Old emails do not show

I have been using Opera as my email client on a Windows 10 computer for about 5 years. I have accumulated a significant amount of old emails including sent that I occasionally access for reference. This morning while the program was open I had an unexpected two minute power failure. When I rebooted my computer all of the old emails including ones I had sent over the years have disappeared. Only the 34 that were still on my isp's server were still shown. I do not think I had a hard drive failure. Could anyone give me advice as to how I can restore or re-sync the database?
