@lesmw In settings, keyboard shortcuts, is Ctrl+F5 assigned?
Can you try with extensions disabled? (In private mode most extensions ar disabled for example.)
And - are you sure your app does not process it somehow? We (in our app) changed processing for F5 and initially accidentally overwrote Ctrl+F5 either

RE: Opera hard refresh is not possible on per page basisOpera for Windows
@lesmw Ctrl+F5 / Shift+F5 do work here (well, they don't clear cookies and storage, they only fetch page and all related elements - like in other browsers).
Then you can clear site data by clicking padlock icon, "Cookies and site data" and so on - this requires quite a many clicks.
In DevTools, Application tab you can clear everything (click Storage on left menu).
I agree that Opera could make developers life happier, unfortunately they have removed such simple shortcuts from easy access - most likely cookie producers and watchers (I mean companies, basing their revenue on targeted ads) do not want to delete cookies and other site data so easily.

@lesmw Something like you can do in DevTools, Application tab?

RE: Save as PDF creates pages that are too largeOpera for Windows
@davidgp Instead of saving as PDF you could choose print and then set destination to "Save as PDF" - this usually creates much nicer PDFs.

RE: Opera 106 developerBlogs
@michaing said in Opera 106 developer:
Narrowed it down: It is actually "Multithreaded UI Compositor" and "Out-of-process 2D canvas rasterization." which both cause the issue individually, even if the other flag is disabled, but also in combination.
Same here - either flag alone didn't help. Disabling both seems workig so far.
This seems to be related to only very specific video hardware/driver - I have Intel onboard video on different PCs, but only one (older) is affected.

RE: Opera 105.0.4963.0 developer updateBlogs
Unfortunately rendering just does not work on my system (older onboard intel video) - makes screen (partially or fully) grey. Reverting to 4957, have no time to experiment with graphic acceleration options.

@jas12 Note to Opera team: this misbehavior may not occur in 96dpi mode (Windows scaling 100%), but in 120+dpi (125+%) it is quite nasty.

RE: Export passwordsOpera for Windows
@sylvana navigate to opera://password-manager/settings - don't you have Export option there? At least in dev version (104...) it is present.

Is there a way to disable Opera Internal Ads?
There is no way i will use a browser that places ads on top like that.I have never seen any ad of such kind (in Opera, I mean).
Are you sure you have no malware in your PC? -
RE: I can't login to the site.Opera account
@proshor What happens, if you disable Opera ad-blocker and disable all third-party ad-blockers and tracker-blockers?

RE: mouse pointer leaves the screen from right side with new opera oneOpera for Windows
I think the next behavior is related:
Using two monitors, having Opera maximised on left (main) screen, right border (about 1 pixel wide) of Opera frame is visible on right monitor. -

@northsider After a couple of days, I like Brave as well as I used to like Opera-
About Brave - have they implemented in-page search with just hitting a dot (.) or not? Last time I tried (few years ago) this was not possible. Over the long years I have got used to that... Ctrl+F does not qualify

Is it only me?
No, me too.
Why are my choices overrided with each and every update?
Because they know better And they want some revenue either.
I'm fed up with such 'little' things too, unfortunately other browsers have other problems, no good one to switch over

RE: Background tabs/windows getting into foregroundOpera for Windows
@vegelund If you disable notifications in settings, does that help? Many versions ago there was similar issue, then it was caused by conflict of Opera and MS Teams.

RE: Cannot access Virgin Atlantic says browse is out of dateOpera for Windows
@tesshide Their webiste is out of date, recommends IE...
You can use some "user agent switcher" extension to mimic itself as Chrome - or if this "Carry on ..." link works, then just use that.You likely should report this site to Opera too.

By keyboard then - Ctrl+W, Ctrl+F4, or by simulating right-click on tab and selecting Close tab from this menu. -

@donq
How did u modify it ?Open Preferences file in some JSON-capable editor (Opera has to be closed!), find
ai_tools:
and add{"enabled":false}
there. Or if there is noai_tools
property, then find"ui":{
and add"ai_tools":{"enabled":false},
.
Be sure to make copy of original file and be sure not to break any JSON syntax (I made some unsuccessful attempts first).
