Closing tabs on shutdown

I'm new to Opera and so far impressed except for one thing. I want the browser to close all open tabs on exit without having to close each one manually. How do I do this please. Also how do I stop the Speed Dial tab from appearing whenever I open the browser. Thank you. ianpit

I checked the settings menu. I can't find anything which ensures that tabs are closed (i.e. removed) when exiting the Opera browser. Can you help with more information?

I've reviewed the settings menu but couldn't locate an option that guarantees tabs are closed (i.e., removed) upon exiting the Opera browser. Could you provide further assistance or details on how to achieve this? Any guidance would be appreciated.

@ianpit Goto the URL
opera://settings/onStartup
, set the startup option to "open a specific page or set of pages" and add the URL for the page you want to load instead of the start page.https://www.google.com/
for example. -

Thanks everyone for your comments but I'm now giving up. I can't find any setting which automatically deletes tabs at the top of the browser page when closing down Opera. I have to delete them manually which is a nuisance. I've even ticked "hide Speed Dial" but the tab Speed Dial tab loads on every start up.

Hi
in the settings page, go to "at startup". then, either click on "Start with startup page" or "Open a specific page or set of pages".
for the speed dial, still in the settings, go to "Start page" then check "Hide quick access".
