Opera Account Password Lost

I forgot my Opera account password and I just formatted my PC and there is no forgot my password button, how can I recover my account ?

@btryo The same way you do when you loose any password, you go to the login page (auth.opera.com) and use the Forgot My Password tool.

I am trying to go in and change my password because I forgot the old one, I do not see anywhere where it says forgot password, but in order to go and change I need to remember my old password. I'm just trying to sync up all my password to my new PC. This is causing me stress beyond belief.

It requires both the email and the old password to change your current password. I have gone in and changed it, but I can't transfer all my passwords over now cause it still needs the old one to transfer all of them.

@sjnfury Are you sure you are in auth.opera.com and, of course, are not logged in?

@sjnfury Yes, since the synced saved passwords are encrypted using your Opera account password, it is needed for decryption.
