I squeesed in a bug report and have had no reply. I say squeesed because SSL errors or something.
Without recording me screen as I watched it seems operas sync page SSL was issued by digicert and then latter and now I see amazon .
A bug report was attempted then when sending errored out and another went through. If I had a reply in email I could possibly copy it here. It went about like this:- Set a 255 character maximum length password
- Try to login and get wrong password notice
( consider it could be a password manager problem ) - Click forgot password
No password reset email arrives
(Consider the possibility the email was changed however the email must be OK because it reply wring password)
(Now consider the account was compromised and deactivated by attacker because no reset emails ) - Click reactivate account
( no reactivation email arrives ) - Cannot login - cannot reset pass - no reactivate
Expect to receive a reset email.
Steps taken: report possible exploit in authentication system auth.opera.com as a bug and get no email confirmation.
After all of this I registered a new account I Joe post with.

@conceptpuppet As other topics show, those mails from Opera (to recover password, to confirm account, etc) may take a long time to arrive and, sometimes, don't even get to the users.

Does it take days for the Amazon SSL certified fakeOpera services to scrub the original email from the original Opera sender and reset the real password for backing a relayed fakeOpera services password being provisioned in an Amazon EC2 elastic cloud services?
