Hello, I've been recently having data consumption issues with my data allocation. I have a 1 GB data plan and I've used Opera Max to reduce consumption. In the last couple of months, I have gone over my allocation and I tried to diagnose the issue by looking at the mobile data usage report from Opera Max.
However, I have noticed that over half of the data consumed falls under "Others" and I can point out which app or apps are to blame.
Is it possible to get a more detailed report on what these "Others" apps are?
I have a similar question. Despite blocking most apps both in mobile and background access, I saw that 'Others' used around 5 MB today. How do I determine what apps they are?
At a fresh startup (device reboot) some processes are not counted by Opera Max. For example GP will notify about non upgraded apps and sht and this sht doesn't appeared anywhere, comprende? It's like my device is dead being idle.
What I mean is that some data traffic is not monitored on main dashboard.
Exactly the same problem as mine. I'm really mad seeing unknown app consume more than 30% total data without knowing how to stop it. If it is caused by opera max itself I wont hesitate at all to uninstall permanently. Please listen to our problem. Thanks.
I monitor my data usage at least 5 times a day, and limit my usage to 20 MB per day. Some days 'Others' account for more than 5 MB. WTF are those processes?! I love Opera's products dearly, but this is the single one thing that spoils it. PLEASE add some detailed reporting about this 'Others' processes in your next update of Max.
The commenters here are lucky that "other" apps are using 5 or 10 or 20 MB.
My "other" apps used over 61 MB today, over a 1 hour timespan!
Opera, this is a major point of frustration. Get a senior executive working on it quick. The scripting and customer service kids will just brush it off as usual.
Today, between midnight and 3am, "other" apps had used 165mb. I can't use Opera Max anymore unless an update fixes this so I can see what's causing the issue.
I'm afraid that data counter will look the same with or without Opera Max.
