Do you have a version of Helvetica installed? That would be the most common cause - you have a printer (generally a laser printer) that uses Helvetica and so you have a version of Helvetica on your system but it is not a TrueType font and hence is only available in certain sizes. If the page lists Helvetica before the TrueType fonts you do have and requests a size that is not available, you will get an ugly font as seen in your photo.
