I'm also interested in this. How did you enable it on messenger.com by the way @Colinovsky ? I see a lot of search results with instructions but the option seems unavailable for me for the web version.

I was referring to the Opera account indeed, which can be in the Browser, on the website, etc. all being handled by the same authentication layer. A mobile sms confirmation code for unrecognized devices would be a good start.

Same here, it's rather primitive that the access is granted by email and password only and all the other major browsers already have it as far as I am aware.
