It just makes good sense to force encryption on sites you frequent.I have used this and privacy badger for years. Support them by all means they rock.The only ones to trust is EFF.

@koolpal: I paid for tunnel bear for a year.I quit after I added all the time I added up that tunnel bear was out of service.After I paid for 12 months I did not get credit for 3 months and 19 days.I was not able to use the service,it may be petty to some but to others it's principle.

@hermetechmastering: yes it does not appear to me to work.I installed it and it showed on and gave every appearance of working but I kept running into pop ups saying "NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY OR REGION' so I checked ip address and sure enough the vpn was not masking anything. At least not for me. So I gave up on a third party and just use OPERA's vpn
