That just duplicates the folders. Instead, as you add bookmarks, you want the folders tree to stay the same no matter which you use, My folders or the Bookmarks bar, so the two don't drift apart. You want to have both addressed whichever you work with.

I can't figure out, when editing bookmarks: it seems letting My folders and Bookmark-bar folders being the same one collection of folders is not allowed? As I lift My folders into Bookmarks bar, they really leave My folders entirely. There's no way to "Make my Folders also my Bookmarks bar"?

No, ok, I see now, Zoom does it with the no. of columns!

Ok, so some no. of columns, depending on screen, is just displayed without the user selecting. May I suggest columns are too broad generally; I'd prefer more columns (and to be able to select, actually would prefer this all as in much-earlier versions including no bogus design of dials).

Note, the question is not how to select the maximum no. of columns, what is under settings, but seems not to affect the actual no. of columns displayed.
