Thank you! I will certainly give that a try.
Be careful with Hekasoft! While it's an excellent program (and I use it continually), it will backup/restore the entire critical Opera profile folder's files, overwriting whatever bookmarks and settings you've already set up in your new installation upon Hekasoft restoring the backup there. You noted that you've already imported Chrome and Firefox bookmarks, and Hekasoft will over-write them and any customization settings you've already made in the new installation, with your old system's Opera bookmarks files and settings (assuming. of course, you can even install Hekasoft onto the old computer and create the backup files in the first place).
Assuming you're willing to re-import the Chrome and Firefox bookmarks, Hekasoft should do what you need. For that matter, though, you could even simply copy the Bookmarks and BookmarksExtras files from the old system's Opera profile over top of the ones in the new installation's profile (with both Operas turned off)... then, after turning the new Opera on, re-import the Chrome and Firefox bookmarks. The bookmarks files can be found in both installations along the paths found at: O > Help > About Opera > Paths - Profile
That said, Hekasoft is indeed a good, simple mechanism for backing up almost any browser's personalized data, as well as eMail programs like Thunderbird.
