RE: Opera 75 brings easier access to top featuresBlogs
I have a touch screen device. Opera is absolute Worse on touch screen.
Cannot use gesture to move back/forward (like you can in Chrome and Edge), UI is Very small and can not be made bigger (like in Chrome with a flag), some features require Mouse Hover (like the new Player), which I do not have in touch/tablet mode.
Considering Opera pioneered gestures on browsers this is a disgrace

RE: Make Opera GX touch friendlyOpera GX
Whats even weirder is that we now start to have "on-mouse-hover" features like the Music Controls. What should I do without mouse? Try to press the small music icon with finger to open side pane and then click on music control? Pretty aggressively anti touch

Make Opera GX touch friendlyOpera GX
Would like to use touch in Opera GX. To navigate back / forward and potentially make buttons a tad larger to push them (for example refresh).
In Edge I can use touch gestures (back/forward) - works out of the box and UI is pretty big. Same thing in Chrome (a small blue arrow appears on back gesture). Additionally, in Chrome you can make the buttons and tabs bigger chrome://flags#top-chrome-md.
Considering Opera pioneered mouse gestures, its very odd they are behind the curve here, especially considering using the same (Chromium) engine...

RE: touch friendly on Win10Suggestions and feature requests
Hi, I still don't see any support for touch friendly UI. Tabs are too small for touch and no native touch gestures.
For gestures there are some Chrome add-ons but they are not good. For bigger tabs (and other UI elements) - there are NO add-ons - so it must be done by Opera themselves.
Anything in the horizon?

touch friendly on Win10Suggestions and feature requests
- in Chrome you can make the buttons and tabs bigger / more user friendly for tablets with setting chrome://flags#top-chrome-md. This is a must have... please add same behaviour. it really is a game changer in day to day ops.
- another thing is mouse gestures. opera was first to add them for desktop. please be the first to add finger gestures now. really bothers me i have to reach to the small (due to lack of top chrome md flag) back button to navigate in touch mode.
thanks!
