If you have a PC with Sync enabled, go to Manage Bookmarks (Ctrl-Shift-B) and click on "Other speed dials". Delete the folder for the device in question, and the device will be removed from the server.

RE: Messed up colors due to Force Dark PagesOpera GX
@sirblobfish If you go to
chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark
you will see about 10 different options in the dropdown related to force dark mode, including one that applies it only to non-image elements.. You might try that.

RE: Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?Opera for computers
As I'm one of those who never has more than 5 tabs open at a time, search in tabs is almost useless to me. But Leo and I are not developers, Opera Software will do what they want not what I want.

RE: What is Tile animation in the GX settings?Opera GX
Has to do with what happens when you hover (mouse over) a speed dial tile; it isn't a big thing.

RE: [Solved]Syncing Speed Dial Across Windows ComputersOpera for Windows
Actually, you can copy them from "Other speed dials" but you can't sync them directly. Many people have Opera on several machines (say, home and work) and want different speed dials on different machines. There is a feature request for a way to actually sync them; add your support to that request.

RE: Speed dial circular icons.Suggestions and feature requests
Why do you think the forum has circular avatars? It's the current style.

RE: VPN Disappear after Opera GX automatically restartOpera GX
Opera's VPN was always "where allowed by law", so if the Russian government tells them to disable it in Russia that is what happens.

RE: Stop Opera from Closing when Last Tab is ClosedOpera for Windows
@rwhite777 If you have more than one window open and close all the tabs in one of the windows, that window will also close. But once you are down to one window, closing the last tab does not close the browser.

RE: Tab stacking, tiling and tab groupingSuggestions and feature requests
@felipesantini-acr Keep in mind, Leo and I are not Opera employees. This is the right place but we're not the ones you need to convince. We may suggest alternatives or suggest clarifications, but we can't implement anything. While Opera does read posts here, they seem to prefer not to reply most of the time.
I will say though, we should try to stick to one request per thread. Stacks and groups can be considered the same request, tiling tabs and splitting the window is a separate request and deserves its own thread
So to summarize, the argument for stacking or grouping as opposed to workspaces is that stacking doesn't hide your other tabs, and that some extensions allow you to group related tabs automatically. Anything else?

RE: [Solved] Why does Opera keep signing me out of everything after I close it?Opera GX
@shajins2k Every time you close Opera, or every time you restart your computer?
You being signed in somewhere is controlled by a cookie for that site. So if you've set Opera to throw away new cookies on exit, that will log you out. Alternatively some third-party privacy software can be configured to delete cookies - that even includes CCleaner. So if cookies are deleted every time you restart the computer, check for something like that.

RE: Hide the word "Menu" in the top left menuOpera for Linux
@imsuck Yes, but ... if you show the sidebar then the button is the same width as the sidebar and thus doesn't show the text. But then you have the sidebar along the left edge of your window.

@schmidt-98 Make sure you have the latest version of GX - there was a bug in last week's version but they released an update to fix it.

RE: Photography tipsLounge
@sylphcloudy The main things are hold the phone/camera steady, line it up right (so you're not cutting stuff off), and try not to use the flash unless you have to.. If you can manage those, any recent phone should take decent pictures. Oh, if possible avoid features to "enhance" your photos - they generally look fake.

RE: key bind for opening a link in a new tab?Opera for computers
@canja-3 Generally, holding Shift or Ctrl while opening a link will force it into a new tab (on opens in foreground, the other background). So whatever you're doing to open the link (probaby just Enter after highlighting it), try it with Shift held down.

@belanoor What malware, and where? If it is in the cache, then it is coming from a tab you have open and will keep reappearing until you close that tab.

@nehosob615 Not certain about history, but passwords and cookies are encrypted to the Windows account. As such, they can'tbe transferred to a new system.

RE: Extensions ,passwords,settings disappearedOpera GX
@alicemius Sounds like your system registry crashed, you may find the location of your profile changed. Which is to say, your data is likely still wherever it used to be, but Opera is looking somewhere else. Which version of Windows?

RE: I lost my authenticator and my backup codesOpera account
@nik777082 If you reset your password it will have cleared all your data from the account. (It's just not secure if someone could access your data merely by resetting the password after hacking your email.) So it seems like there's nothing for you to access.
