I don't want to jump on the bash google band wagon but I have 5 devices here and only one has google services. Its not just the spying element its also the bloat of all hungry google services bleeding my CPU, and ram dry. I appreciate not everybody feels the same but a direct download link would be great. Normally I extract apk from google phone and Bluetooth it to the others.

Its getting to be more of requirement these days with privacy issues, website spam and tracking. In addition some versions of websites load up faster and are much cleaner. I use classic where you can turn off JS or Fennec from fdroid. Fennec you can install no script and https everywhere extensions.

@emolla opera more intuitive? Hmm its a slightly older engine version of chrome with speed dials. Classic is far more customizable. It was a mistake not to have Pursued opera mobile labs it was ahead of the game at the time with extensions.

I've never been a fan of discovery - homepage I remember when it first started turning up on java versions. If you are going to do something like that then you have to do it right with plenty of options to customize news source update frequency, show image options on off, or selectable RSS version of these sites. Over years of use with Opera products I have that turbo/off road have not always been the fastest method of connection. I put this down to the speed of the opera servers where the compression is done. Maybe at time the servers get over loaded. My rule of thumb is only use off road/ turbo when your connection is bad then give it a try to see if things approve.
