So i logged-in for syncing from my pc-opera again. And here it looks different.
When i open "tabs" it shows my open tabs on my pc and has two sections for my tablet.
One section is listing those 5 tabs, which are actually (really) open on my tablet. The second section (names exactly the same) shows the open tabs before i reinstalled opera on the tablet.

In https://www.sync.opera.com/tabs i find the same sections, but those 2 sections for the tablet show exactly the same tabs, and it is as an addition from what i see now here on my pc (new install and former install mixed together and doubled)

There is definitely something going wrong.

I don't understand. So it is normal behaviour that syncing on the same device will never sync open tabs and speed dial?
I can't believe.
Why does https://www.sync.opera.com/tabs tells me, I have actually 104 tabs open but only 9 of them, those i open after reinstall, are shown in opera. (and you find those 9 tabs in the list of those 104, like every next tab a will open too.)

but it is the same device!

After reinstall and loged-in for syncing, no previous tabs have been opened. I find my previous tabs only when I use the tab-button and then, in the lower left edge, there is a button for the synced tabs. But I have to open all the tabs tab by tab (around 100...)
On https://www.sync.opera.com/ I found my tablet twice in the part "open tabs" and every new tab will show up there immediately in both parts!
In the part "speed dial" it is the same, 2 times my device! And I have to import them by myself, for speed dial, it was easy done via speed dial menu.
In the "devices" part is only 1 tablet listed. (I disconnected my pc). For the rest of syncing, everything is fine in opera and on https://www.sync.opera.com
What is going wrong?

after reinstalling opera, Google-login works (for me) again....

this helps! was a little afraid. all online-data where deleted, but logout in android and new login works fine.

so i can reinstall opera to solve my google login-problem...

I don't remember setting up a passphrase. Used syncing only once, when i moved from one tablet to another (and to backup bookmarks on pc at this time) 1 or 2 years ago.
But i have just changed my password for my opera-account, because they wanted more characters as i used before. (tried old password as passphrase, did not work)

https://www.sync.opera.com offers me:
"Do not remember your key synchronization password (passphrase)? Reset Passphrase."
Maybe this helps. (But i don't want a new one...)

I don't under understand, what you mean with "device passwort".

In opera android, everything is greyed out in the sync-settings. I'm not able able to change anything, Encryption seems not to be active, because around "encryption", everything is blank.
My account has a red exclamation mark. But it syncs.

Ok. found my (synced)bookmarks in my (blank) opera windows now.
But opera android still says (for example on my "Schnellwahl"): To continue syncing, type in you passphrase.
So, how can i get rid off passphrase?

no vpn, tried private mode with same error.
Deleted cookies and cache and website-settings for all google related sites. Did not help.
Problem came from one day to another. First, updated opera itself, but didn't change anything.

really temporary? anyone else is not able to sync now?
what is the difference between passphrase and password (I used just one step before)? (I used the same)
And why do I see my actual open tabs, bookmarks etc. on https://www.sync.opera.com/ when I am not in locked in?

thank you, so I have to reinstal opera. Bad luck, that opera sync does not work (server error....)

So, anyone (+- 90% should have a Google account) can confirm (or not) that Google login is (with latest) opera still possible?

Otherwise, after windows, this will be the end of my life with Opera (since late 90ies)....
Anybody of the Opera-guys with a statement? I mean, reaction is about 99% negativ. Not only here.

Auto installed newest beta with pain ui.
This ui is perhaps good for phones, but for samsung tablett unusable.
There are many tabs open, and i need them, but can't get access to them.
Stable or last beta would bring me back the access, but how can i switch whithout loosing the open tabs?

You killed the layout with tabs? Only for phones anymore?
You know, that some systems, like samsung tablets, have an overlay button on lower right corner???
(is there the tab-switch???)

Fact is, after update i have no more access to my open tabs...
Or i have, but the ui won't show me without playing for hours (i won't).

Hi,
got a new problem: On ebay (germany) when i open page (after searching or browsing) the page opens normally until the (blue) progess-bar is at the end, then the page zooms to about 25%.
So i have to manually zoom to nearly 100%. And after, because for opera the zoom-level is now > 100%, the popup windows for the pictures are not centered anymore.
Ebay is nearly unusable anymore...
Anybody has the same problems or can verify this?
Does not happen on ebay.com, only ebay.de
