RE: Pink? Private tab color scheme | Opera 60Opera for Windows
It looks way better in Microsofts new Edge that are under development. New Edge is Chromium based as well and has a more pleasing color scheme overall. I like Opera but dislike the blue-ish-dark color on tabs instead of the darker color you see in the attached image.

I would hope there would be something in settings. If there is I have NOT found it.
I don´t really understand what you are actually asking for. I have never used any web browser that closes the current window/tab when i click on a mail adress and open a new browser window/tab.
OP is asking how to open new tab/window (not replace current active tab), when some link/url is launched outside of Opera?
O.k, just hold down the Ctrl-key while clicking the link.
Result:
If Ctrl-clicking a link in Tab A a new tab, Tab B, is opened and will load the website the link is pointing to while Tab A is still open. You will now have two tabs open, Tab A and Tab B.If not using Ctrl-click some pages do load in Tab A. I use Ctrl-click every day to overcome this .

I use MS Outlook 365 for my mails and if i click on a mail adress in Opera the current tab will remain and MS Outlook 365 will open the window for me, ready to type. Nothing closes or opens in Opera.
For this to happen the mail client you use it must be specified as the default email app in Windows. This setting is not controlled by Opera, or any other web browser.
Are you using a local installed mail app on your computer or are you using a web based mail service?

Current status is that this issue should no longer appear, unfortunately removed Speed Dials are gone.

Opera just allow us to properly save a backup copy of our bookmarks
Yes, but it is ironic that Opera seems to fail to have proper backups on their servers. If they had proper backups restoring the lost data would have been able to do.
I will never get an Opera account since they fail to properly backup data on a regular basis, read daily basis.

Keyboarf shortcut for start page/home page?Opera for Windows
I switched from Opera to Firefox some years ago but am now back with Opera again.
In the "On startup" settings i have set a specific page to open everytime i launch Opera. If i now browse some other pages and want back to the start page it is convinient to have a keyboard shortcut for that but i cannot find any.
In Firefox i can just press Alt+Home to take me my specified start page, but Alt+Home in Opera just takes me to the Speed Dial instead of my start page.
Is there a way to use Alt+Home in Opera to take me to my start page?
