RE: [Solved]How to REMOVE "Suggestions" section of Speed Dial??? *OPERA 40*Opera for Windows
There seems to be a little cross, that's somewhat hard to see on the bottom right above the actual suggestions

RE: After updating to Version 40.0.2308.62 (latest) i got this issueOpera for Windows
This has to change. It's horrible. I've been enjoying opera, but this seemingly minor annoyance is pushing me very hard to move on to vivaldi. It's straight up hijacking my internet behaviour for the sake of a sponsor, I ain't havin' that.
I understand won't get patched immediately, but I really hope the team doesn't let this carry on longer than necessary.Meanwhile, anyone got a solution available?

Open Bookmarks Tab Mouse GestureSuggestions and feature requests
I believe it would be very useful to have a mouse gesture which opens a new tab with the bookmarks page.
Considering a lot of people aren't content with the way bookmarks work at the moment, I think this would alleviate at least some of the problems.
No more need to open a new tab, then move your mouse to the bottom and aim for the small button that opens the menu. Also no need to move your other hand, which is likely already occupied with supporting your head in order to press a key combination anymore.
Now you could just jump straight your bookmark page and open what you need, quickly using only one hand.
Bookmarks are one of the most used features of any internet browser, so it makes sense that the path leading to it should be as short as possible.
ps.
A setting where can choose whether the selected page from your bookmarks opens in a new tab or in the current tab would also be a pleasant addition. Bookmarks tends to get opened for single uses, so it's a bit annoying that it remains to fill space in the tab bar even though you're done doing what you opened it for. -
RE: I get logged out automaticallyOpera for Windows
I remembered. It also happens on myanimelist.net
It frequently forgets I'm logged in and looking at my own manga or anime list -
RE: I get logged out automaticallyOpera for Windows
My laptop running the same version of opera does not suffer from the issue. I stay logged in there, without problems.
I'm not sure what they use, how can I check? I suspect it's cookies though.

RE: I get logged out automaticallyOpera for Windows
The time it takes also isn't very consistent.
Sometimes it'll be as short as 5 minutes, other times it'll take a few hours.
I don't shut my browser in the meantime or anything and often I'll stay logged in after shutting it and restarting it too.
There appears to be no consistency at all as to when it happens, but it's infuriating.

I get logged out automaticallyOpera for Windows
There is a site I visit frequently, a fairly old game forum: www.silkroadforums.com
Whenever I visit that site from my desktop with opera I constantly get logged out.
I'll login, and after 20~30 minutes I'll be out again (and yes, I'm clicking the remember me button). It's rather annoying. Sometimes it'll even happen in the middle of writing a comment
This was never the case with the old 12.16 opera, nor does it seem to be the case on my laptop which is running the same version as my desktop (29.0.1795.60). I think there was another site where I noticed this behaviour, but I'm not sure anymore.
I've got firefox running as well, which doesn't suffer from this issue
I'm using Windows 7
