@yeswap I'm ready to drop opera. I like opera better than any other browser but I like what works. I hope opera fixes that. I was using vivaldi for a while.. might go back.

Using system UIOpera for Linux
How to use System UI so that it matches my selected UI (my window buttons on the left)?
Using mate and deb opera download.
Google Chrome has a settings option to do this.Is there a way to also do this with the snap store version.?

Well I hope that there can be a nice feature added.. maybe alt clickonlink
can work since control clickonlink almost does it. -

Link clicking - new tab- no focusOpera for Linux
I like to click on things and use control click, but I don't like to have the tab set focus ... Is there are key sequence for this and if not can it be made?
I want to have links load in the background and read them later. -

RE: Opera does not remember any passwordsOpera for Linux
I did a apt remove --purge again and then searched for opera stuff on the root.
I deleted all files that were opera related (and looked suspect) and still present, except the deb file.
There was a file that was called something like "operfillinlist" or something like that. I deleted that and reinstalled the deb file and it all worked . Sounds like a bug.. -
RE: Opera does not remember any passwordsOpera for Linux
I renamed the ~.config/opera directory to operaOld.
restarted opera and a new directory was made.
However,
It still does not remember my login password (i guess a cookie problem).
I guess it is saving some data because it did remember some login "choices" like my user name.
But I should be able to login to gmail automatically after I have logged in ..
probably the same with this website. -
RE: Opera does not remember any passwordsOpera for Linux
@dani82 I know that I will need to retype all passwords again.. but I need to do it again and again and again even if I say remember me. Something did not get reinstalled when I reinstalled it.
