What is '' fresh Opera profile '' ?
Means that all settings and data were wiped before testing. This was done by delete the profile and cache folders while Opera was closed. Goto the URL opera://about for the locations.
For you to try with a fresh profile without messing with your normal Opera, download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install.
Test in that Opera, but do not enable Opera Sync, do not turn on the adblocker and do not turn on the VPN. If things work fine there, then you know it's just an issue with your normal Opera profile (setting or corruption or something) and we can go from there.
That wallpaper is for an older version of Opera and isn't supported in current Opera. You can right-click on the "add to opera" button to download the zip file of it, extract it and look at the persona.ini file. Then, do the same for https://addons.opera.com/en/wallpapers/details/tree-fog/ (change the file extension from .nzip to .zip) and see how its persona.ini works. You'll then be able to fix the Heart Shaped Rock persona.ini, zip up persona.ini and the jpg file and add that as a wallpaper. Or, you can just add the jpg file itself as the wallpaper.
For non english native languagers it would be great to be able to turn on a feature where we can tell which language to translate the selected text. Lets say i browse the internet, on a site i found a word that i do not know what it means in english, i select it, and in the popup window which comes up on selection, next to the copy and search there would be a third option. [ copy | search | translate ]. When clicking on the translate, it would show in small window 2-4 words which the text translates to. It would come very handy.
