Flag is called - (Use surface layers in Video Pop-out)
But when the flag is disabled to get the old pip back..
the popout is black screen sound works
Note - Opera Stable 66.0.3515.44 pip old style works fine with the flag disabled..
So Opera Dev still has problem

Seems like it stopped creating a link now.So, you're saying you unpinned the Opera tasbkar icon you had, started Opera with the desktop shortcut that Opera keeps creating, and right-clicked on that taskbar button when Opera started and choose to pin that? Then, you deleted the desktop icon and it doesn't come back now?
thats what i was thinking if only they had copy and pasted the icons properties..

the thing is - the new version is not - Compatable - with xp as @adrin7 already knows.. As ya should know too..
version 36 sumthin was the last for xp i think.. Opera has no updates for xp..
if @adrin7 has updated his OS (Lately) and had problems with new version then that would be different..

Note - clicking n e ones profile will give same results..
Vpn down ATM - on all of Opera Browser's.. incude 'n GX.. *just let 'n Opera Team to know..

Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available under the System heading and Opera won’t use the capacity of your graphics card for loading content faster..

If you want to disable images in Opera to save the bandwidth, the steps are very easy and simple.
Click the Opera menu button > click “Settings” > click “Website” > find “Images” section > choose “Do not show any images”. LoL

Sorry to say .. Yes gets reverted back to "ask" after you restart Opera 51.0.2830.0 developer update..
@borghy set the "user surface layers in Video Pop-out back to (Default)
and relaunch browser then try Video pop out again..
for me default or enable works for me..
Note - it will be the new Video Pop-out w/o the black screen.. *old style gone for now
