a) Many programmes when one is installing an update provide an option (as part of the upgrade process or 1st installation process if installing the programme for the first time) "do you want to Create a Desktop short cut?"
b) Secondly there is sometimes a prompt " e.g "an existing version is installed - Upgrade Yes /No?"
At present one has to update Desktop Short cut manually via Launcher.exe or Select Opera.exe and then Create a Short cut.
I find out via other Filepuma.com
that an Opera Update is available.
I then log on to Opera for that purpose. I click the Help tab and then Update and Recovery .tab. It then shows Version Nr Checking for updates. At the top under Version it says "Opera is Up to Date quoting version Nr.
But
Below that is another tab saying Check For updates.
I click on that tab to download the update.
Surely this is illogical and that a better way would be to show Current Version Nr with a tab stating "An update is available" with an option to click on a tab "Download now'"
