My browser was flashing 4 times then stopping, leaving 4 instances of opera.exe in the task list but no visible browser windows, using the old and probably depreciated -private flag. I changed to -newprivatetab and all is well.

Use -newprivatetab not -private for v52.0.2871.37Opera for Windows
Can't start latest version with -private flag.Opera for Windows
I just upgraded to Opera 52.0.2871.37 running on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
When I ran it using my old shortcut:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" -private
I saw 4 white rectangles flash very quickly on the screen then disappear immediately. I found 4 opera.exe instances in the Task List. When I removed the flag "-private" from the startup link it started normally.
How do we start the latest version in private viewing mode?
