Orange notification box appearing for 0.1sForum feedback
I'm just curious - when being here (and using vpn if that matters) I can see a popup notification in bottom right, with orange text.
It disappears so darn fast that I can't read what it says o.O Especially that it appears randomly. Plus, I think these are different messages.
Something about "connection" ....
I'm just curious what it is, and why did someone think 0.1s is enough to read a 15 words paragraph
RE: What's up with the 'turbo' mode, how do I know if it's working?Opera for computers
@leocg OK, gotcha! Thank you very much again!
Customizing UI with cssOpera for computers
In Firefox we can easily change the UI with css, precisely with the userChrome.css file. I tried hard to find something similar for Opera and failed.
Some guidelines are for opera 12, some suggest using an extension, although don't mention which.
I for example want to make items in my bookmarks bar much smaller, including smaller space between them.
I really hope it's possible with just a css file, because this is one of two reasons I like Firefox
What's up with the 'turbo' mode, how do I know if it's working?Opera for computers
I've just started using Opera a few hours ago and I think I really started liking it:)
I have a few questions though.
I use the linux version, if that matters. I enabled the 'turbo mode' to see how it works, actually just to play with it, because right now I do not have a slow connection actually. And... what now? How do I know it's working or not? With the 'vpn' enabled I can see an icon in the address bar, where I can enable/disable it. Besides I can see my public IP as seen by web sites is different.
And how do I see it with the 'turbo mode'?
I really loved the concept of images quality being lowered, even with fast connection, because in theory even then it theoretically can improve things, due to e.g. lower memory usage, faster processing by browser etc. But I just can't see it working?
