The spinner (EQ icon) takes a lot less CPU, but it's still pretty bad. CPU was at around 40-45% before the update, now it's around 12-14%. If you move the mouse cursor to the tab, it drops to 3%. Please fix this once and for all or simply remove the animated icon.

RE: Opera 68 is here with built-in Instagram in the sidebarBlogs
@kmielczarczyk: Can I please talk to one of you guys privately? One of my accounts is completely broken, and sync is also broken for this one. I really don't know what to do anymore.

@leocg Sorry, didn't know that. Can you at least point me to the right direction/person, so I can get some help with my account?

@leocg because I'm guessing you're an Opera employee and can send the case to the people who are dealing with account problems?

@leocg can you please follow me for a bit, I really need to send you a private message about my other account. Something really weird is going on (it's not just sync not working). I've already sent a message to the support yesterday, but I'm afraid nobody is going to see it.
Thank you

RE: Opera 66 initial release makes it easier to reopen closed tabs and to access extensionsBlogs
@l33t4opera Thank you. The first option doesn't work for me. Running it with the switch kinda works, the overlay scrollbar is "blinking" while scrolling and sometimes it will disappear completely. I really hope they can create a more stable and permanent solution. Using the scrollbar from the settings page would be absolutely perfect.

@melosaderros I'm glad I'm not the only one who want those overlay scroll bars back. I'm so disappointed, the browser looks so dated now

Whoa, what happened to the overlay scrollbars? After the update, they look "normal" (default windows scrollbars). This is not OK, there is no need to have scrollbars always visible, we have mouse wheels for scrolling. Plus, the default ones look super ugly.
Can you at least enable scrollbar from opera://settings for everything? It's a small scrollbar, kind of "invisible", would be a good compromise.

RE: Opera 65.0.3467.62 Stable updateBlogs
I just tested again with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTxfcINRwXU
Here's a screenshot, the %s are pretty much average (so not the highest/lowest values):
System is 2500k overclocked to 4.6 ghz, geforce 2060 rtx, 860 evo, 16gb ram. I'm on vacation with my family and this is my "backup" PC, I have an i9 9900k and R7 3700x at home, but won't be able to test them for at least 2 weeks or so.

The animated media icon is still consuming a lot of CPU (EDIT: not a lot, but still way too much). Random youtube video with mouse cursor on the tab - 5-6% (same as the latest Edge Dev), move the cursor away (so the icon is animated), 9-14% (about 10% average). This is not OK, Opera team.
