RE: Opera Touch - brand new, cool mobile browserOpera Touch
So, in Touch, in order to go back/forward I have to touch the menu dots (top right), and then aim for the little arrows, right?
If the statement above is correct, and I'm not missing something too obvious, I have a question:
What the heck is wrong with you people?
I've a touchscreen laptop, and a touchscreen mobile etc. In none of these devices can I perform the SIMPLE action of swiping left/right for back/forward! Takes away half the UI friendliness this one omission; still I use Opera.
And now you're building a whole new touch system, with a whole new FAB (!?) button!
AND STILL I HAVE TO AIM FOR SOME SMALL ARROW WHICH IS NOW HIDDEN IN A MENU
How come no one is commenting on this? Am I the only one going back and forth in tabs?
Touch screen navigationSuggestions and feature requests
Using opera pretty much everywhere. This is for the desktop version on my windows 10 hybrid.
Given that it's 2018 gentlemen, and half the laptops sold nowadays sport touchscreens, do you plan on ever, EVER, implementing the most basic of touch screen navigation controls? Yes, scrolling and pinch-zooming are there, but these have system-wide integration in Win 10. However, the basic browser controls, like swiping for back/forward, are still not implemented in Opera.
Question is: will they EVER be? Is anyone aware of any plans for sth like that?
P.S.: and ok, I get it, but no, right click/press hold/double tap > context menu > select back or hunting down the 10-pixel-wide navigation arrows is just not the same, is it?
