Chrome, Firefox, and even Edge now offer automated backup and restore of bookmarks from previous versions. I've been waiting for this feature for a long time. I had it on Xmarks years ago as well. Apparently opera isn't smart enough to detect when a browser has an older version of bookmarks after a password change. I had deleted ~300 bookmarks over the holiday and updated my password. Well, I went to work today, updated my password and work, and BOOM, not only did I get the 300 bookmarks back, I got dupes of many others. Talk about wanting to break things. This is enough that I'm dumping Opera for now. Had this been literally ANY other browser, I would have simply rolled back to a copy of the bookmarks from yesterday. Opera is the best browser out there, but this issue is so glaring and so painful when it hits, that it just dropped below IE on my usability list.
