@leocg Thanks for answering...I thought I'd read that Opera was still supporting XP, but I guess I was wrong.

[Solved]current Operasetup.exe will not run no matter what!Opera for Windows
I've tried downloading operasetup.exe from four different site, on two different computers...but it will not do anything when I try to run it. Checking Task Manager (WinXP), when I try to run this file, shows no sign of any new activity or new process. It's as if this setup file is completely dead.
I've run an older version of Opera (v36) without any problem, but couldn't find an upgrade path from within this older version.
Could someone help me troubleshoot this problem, or show me a site where I can download a complete standalone setup file.
RE: v27 "failed to install"Opera for Windows
I think I found the answer...downloaded from the Opera web site (instead of using the upgrade choice in the browser) and it send me v28.x which installed with no problemas. And installed separately so I also have v12 to fall back on if I need to. Can't beat that!
v27 "failed to install"Opera for Windows
I've been using Opera v12.02 on WinXP. I was having trouble today with some graphics not displaying so I clicked on the update line and v27 was downloaded and attempted to install. But after the installation closed the running Opera, I got a window telling me that Opera 27 had "failed to install" and "try again". I've tried again many times with no change, just "failed to install".
Can someone tell me what I need to do at this point.
