Windows 10 Pro on multi x64 & x86 computers
Since updating to Opera Version: 51.0.2830.55 Opera VPN problem started
I have un-installed Opera on all systems (After trying the steps in the Instruction link above) I have deleted all traces of Opera from the hard drives and out of the Registry - Full Shut Down - Defragment - Reboot - Reinstalled Fresh copy of Opera

Opera VPN is still Unstable - Turns on a shuts off a ton of times, Done IP scans an IP keeps changing

I don't think it'a Anti-Virus, Windows Defender, Firewall problem as with all my computers with different security I didn't have Opera VPN problem until I updated to 51.0.2830.55

I sure Hope and Pray the Opera Team can fix this problem - I'm very big on Security & Privacy

I have uninstalled and deleted all traces form the registry, full shut down, pulled power, booted back up, Defraged, and then reinstalled and still doesn't work

I update both my x64 and both my x86 to the newest Opera (Version: 51.0.2830.55) and all 4 have a very unstable VPN connection - They all keep disconnecting, The version before had a rock solid connection and with the dummy of the FTC ending Net Neutrality, Opera Please fix this problem Quick

My Dell computer that doesn't have the Creator Update worked with the "hardware acceleration" turned on, but I just did "About Opera" today and it updated to version 44.0.2510.1218 (PGO) and now "hardware acceleration" has to be turned off for VPN and Ad Blocker to work (I also turned off the 3 Extensions to make sure that wasn't the problem).

I'm Microsoft and Cisco Certified so yes I know what I'm doing

Like I said my Dell 64bit without the Creator Update worked fine until I updated Opera to the newest version
So this is telling me there is a coding bug in this new Opera update

This computer I'm on now like I said above does have the Creator Update

When you have "Open PDF files in the default PDF viewer application" checked and in your computer setting setup the default PDF app you want to use - Mine will open Adobe Acrobat Pro

When I change the VPN to another country Google will be that country

But I use Startpage (They use Google, but it's not traced to you as doing the search)

I also use duckduckgo (and I got them as my default search) as they don't track you.

gozcelik does your Windows 10 have the Creator Update as I have to disable "hardware acceleration when available" to get VPN to work right - My other system with Windows 10 64bit that doesn't have the Creator update works Great with "hardware acceleration when available" enabled.

So with this system I'm on now (Windows 10 64bit with Creator Update) I can't use "hardware acceleration when available"

I'm sure Opera will put out a update to fix the Creator Update problem as Opera is a Awesome Browser and I think they want to keep it this way.

I was a Firefox person, but they have went down hill and Opera has went up hill

leocg is right - I went to the page you gave babogredac and clicked to play and the video din't play, So I disabled the ad-blocker and clicked it and it started to play then I re- enabled ad-blocker and finished watching it

I f you go into Opera settings/Browser and you will see "Synchronization - Synchronize browsing data with Opera account."

Ok leocg I enabled "opera://flags/#ignore-gpu-blacklist" but the drop down for VPN still doesn't work with "update hardware acceleration when available" enabled.

I still think this is a Creator Update problem as before it worked and my Dell doesn't have the update on it and it works right.

This system has Intel(R) HD Grahics with the newest drivers from Intel

As I don't use Windows drivers as almost all the time they are outdated (When you get the right drivers your system will fly)

This system boots and shutdown very fast, and 98% of the software on this computer is 64bit

Yes I agree "software firewalls are basically junk and a waste of money"

I do use the Windows 10 Firewall, but I have a Hardware Firewall and a Server that just watches and if someone tries and attack my systems then hehehehe I send my Rottweiler after them

This is on my Computer with Windows 10 Creator Update (64bit)

My other Computer with Windows 10 Anniversary Update (64bit) works Great

I'm thinking this is a problem with the Creator Update

I hope I am giving the information right (I would use BB Posting Codes, but it doesn't look like this forum uses them)

Before the Creator "update hardware acceleration when available" worked great

This system is a HP laptop with an Intel i5 with 12GB ram

My other system is a Dell laptop and it doesn't have the Creator update on it and it can use "update hardware acceleration when available"

Before Windows 10 Creators Update I could use "Use hardware acceleration when available" but after the update to Creators Update to Windows 10 I have to turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available" to use the Opera VPN - Please fix as withe it enabled on my Windows 10 64bit OS Opera ran alot better and VPN worked. emphasis

Please I beg to update Opera 64bit to use this feature again emphasis

I left FireFox for Opera as I think it's a better Browser now
