@burnout426 I have download and installed the latest version of Opera (Developer 70.0.3693.0).
There is no such bug here, and all texts are displayed correctly, and also it is correctly in its italic style, without any problem.
I think this "correct approach" should be preserved, and also be applied to other existing erroneous versions of Opera browser, which may have such a bug.
Thanks again, Hooman Mallahzadeh

RE: Inconsistency bug for Persian language in italic formOpera for Windows
@burnout426
See, if Opera browser does not have a font, it should convert it to a font that it knows, and does not show squares as □ □ □ □ □.
In that forum, this problem is correctly recognized as a "Bug" that Opera Should try to fix it.
Thanks, again. -
Inconsistency bug for Persian language in italic formOpera for Windows
Hi, and thanks for your excellent free browser.
In Persian language, and in pages such as
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulistan_(book)
in the first line that the Golestan book is written in Persian and in Italic form of it Opera always shows square as □ □ □ □ □, instead of its correct form that is گلستان.
I should note that this bug is present only if we use "italic" style.
In other browsers like Chrome, IE, FireFox, etc. there is no such bug, and in those browsers always the word گلستان is shown correctly.
I should note that this bug is nearly a frequent one in articles of Wikipedia.
Would you please correct this bug?
Thanks again,
Hooman Mallahzadeh
