Several days ago I was browsing around and was interrupted by Bytefence popup. I clicked it without thinking and it started scanning my computer for errors and malware. In fact, it managed to find several issues, such as PUPs and similar not-so-malicious viruses that I have been sruggling with for a while. However, then it asked me to buy its license. Should I? There are several well known blogs, such as this guide, this or this that have been calling it a virus, but its page seems nice and respectable. I am messed up.

RE: m.facebook.com redirects to a russian websiteOpera for Android
Was thinking that it could be a router problem. DNS settings were altered, could cause such issues. You could try factory restarting the router.
RE: Block These Nude Videos on news feedOpera for Android
Could be potential malware that redirects you to such content? Have you tried running Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner for scans?
RE: Block advertisements on kicker.deOpera for Windows
Same here, cannot reproduce the issue. Do you have a custom list for adblocker or are you using the default one? Also, does this happen on any other browser?
RE: Cache does not clear all cookies / files systemOpera for Windows
You could also try exploring Win key + R, type %appdata% -> Local and find Opera related files. File system objects are usually placed there. Additionally, you can try using CCleaner for a full cleanup. However, by default, it should have cleaned up by default.
RE: When will opera extension be available on android?Opera for Android
I doubt Opera is going to add extension support. At least I haven't heard anything of sorts for them, and nothing is planned on that front. Numerous requests have been placed for this feature. We will see in the future if anything is going to happen.
RE: Opera VPN redirect to Browser Hijacker searchguide.level3Opera for Windows
It is redirected to anything it can get its hands on. Sometimes it might be browser hijackers pages. Your DNS requests can just hang there until the proper one is found. As Leocg said, OpenDNS and many others use the same practice.
RE: [Solved]Opera randomly restartsOpera for Windows
In addition to leocg's questions, do you have any other software that can be affecting your browser? Maybe anti-virus program or a script?
RE: "Enable dark theme" not working in private modeOpera for Windows
Unless you are using a plugin to specifically make everything dark mode, it works as it should. Dark mode is only available in normal and not private mode.
Some VPN providers work better than others. Have you tried other VPN alternative or maybe even using a simple proxy to watch what you want?
