RE: Opera version 63.0 is crashingOpera for Mac
I wanted to update this and let everyone know that new versions of Opera and Opera Beta is verified fixed. Both browsers are not longer crashing when I open up new tabs and selecting the new tab. We are stable again.
Thank you Opera.

RE: Opera version 63.0 is crashingOpera for Mac
Anyone seeing what I'm seeing by chance?
Summary: Both Opera Next and Opera Beta keep closing upon opening a new tab
Both Opera Next and Opera Beta keep closing and exiting upon opening a tab from a different site with 17-18 tabs already open to various web sites. Windows PC doesn't exhibit this, nor does FireFox or Safari on OSX. Only Opera Next and Opera Beta on Mac OSX 10.13 is this happening. If I select a URL link on a web page and select "Open page in a new tab". I see the new tab created, once I select the new tab, Opera closes and fully exits. I have to reopen Opera and continueI have found no crash logs or anything indicating a problem or logging of a problem when this happens. Getting to be annoying. Hoping that this can be corrected as this never happened about 6 months ago. Something in recent updates to Opera seems to have appeared with this behavior.
Build:
Environment: HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) OPR/v63.0.3368.88FYI, I use the black theme all the time since Opera first intro'd it.

RE: Window Closes then Re-opens on it's own; OS X 10.11.6; 2012 MBPro; Opera Beta 45.0.2552.632Opera for Mac
I saw issues with both versions of Opera when selecting to open a new tab or tabs then selecting on one of the new tabs and Opera closed or crashed then re-opened automatically. Eventually I lost all tabs if I did this more than two or three times.
Current Opera browser is still crashing when I open new tabs and select on them:

Yes, ctrl + click to open new tab, then just click to select the newly created tab and then Opera closes or crashes.

RE: Opera_44.0.2510.857 crashingOpera for Mac
Just wanted to add my 2 cents as well as this seems to be recently for me. I've updated to recent on Opera and Opera Beta.
Problem is seen for me when I already have tabs open. When I select on a URL or linked text that I want to open into a new tab, then select the new tab, Opera closes fully. If I re-open Opera, the previous tabs are there, however doing this same process again, Opera will crash then all my opened tabs I had opened are now gone upon the next launch opening of Opera. Kind of annoying having to manually re-open tabs since I usually have about 20 tabs going.

Mac Book Pro 2008 with OSX 10.10.5.
All other browsers like FF or Safari do not reproduce this issue on this Mac.
Opera Next has been working up to what I presume was previous version. Like to keep using Opera. Been a good solid browser for years for me.
