Weird problem!

When opening e.g. Gmail, I sometimes suffer a problem where the click on the screen seems to 'hit' someplace (on screen a cm or so) above where I click.

It seems to better after the page has been open for a while (five minutes maybe?). Still odd, though! I have excellent connection on both WiFi and 3G+

Weird stuff going on with Opera Mobile.

On my Android 8 phone Opera is suddenly not able to show content of the middle frame on a site (oddset.dk).
I can zoom out to my heart's desire, as well as log in - but no content will appear in the central frame.

This is the only site, I struggle with - e.g. Facebook runs NQA.
Now. Emptying the cache was the first idea. No result.
Testing whether the site works in Chrome yields a positive result => The problem is ONLY in Opera.
Reinstalling does nothing, either.

Is there some weird error on the site which Opera Mobile is the only browser to pick up?
What could be the problem?

I may add:
Trying to run Opera.exe from console just yields an "Access denied" message. Checking permissions, however, uncovers that I have all rights (execute, run, delete, the full monty).

Makes me wonder whether I am suffering a Windows-based problem or it has to do with Opera...

My work computer runs Windows 10 Enterprise.
Of course I started out by wanting to install Opera (as administrator), but after the installation seemingly finishes without any trouble, I am unable to launch Opera.
It simply doesn't load.
I've tried entering disabling of hardware acceleration, but to no avail: It just won't run.
What could possible be wrong and how do I make the browser work?

(NB: I've even tried to install the portable version, as I gathered there might have been a deeper admin level, I had no access to.
Again: No avail. The browser simply won't launch.)

Here's an idea for Opera's developers (who I btw adore - they are doing a GREAT job!):
Couldn't they at least warn people when they do an update which kills of features as e.g. ending support for video playback, so that we don't end up installing numerous codecs, re-installing flash, trail the internet for solutions, and sacrifice cats in order to make the function work again?
I expect videos to play back nicely soon (also with H.264-support) - they must make an update - but PLEASE make it part of the splash on a new update that you've chosen to limit the functionality temporarily!

So. Finally the VPN is implemented in Opera Stable as it has been tested on both Developer and Beta.
But it doesn't run effortless:
When on a VPN session, you'd experience the 'click to play' dialogue on sites like - uhm - let call it www.zz.com/fool-aepisothes

Now, you can enable plugins automatically in the Opera Settings for the session (until you close the browser) and hence see - uhm - North Green Area and The Show That Has a Higher Frequency than Every Other Day.
But as soon as you close the browser, you'd have to re-enable plugins in the settings.
It is as if the browser doesn't 'save' the setting of either "Detect and run important plug-in content (recommended)" or "Run all plug-in content" when in a VPN session.

Does anyone have a fix for this?
Could it be solved by e.g. running a script on startup of Opera which by default enables plug-ins without the click to play dialogue?

Any suggestions are welcome!!
