Hi, it only me who lost ChromeCast support with latest update?

Hi,

I have noticed that some websites or addon's shows message that Opera is not supported... This is very annoying because Opera shares the same DNA as Google Chrome.

As the workaround I'm using the addon to change headers but this is not perfect solution

I'm running newest version of Opera (66.0.3515.72) on MacOS Catalina (10.15.3) and I found the same issue as below:

I have tried the mentioned solution but it doesnt help.

I can only add it to speed dial. I have added the ecosia to search by editing search engines, however, I can't change it to default.

@leocg It’s the newest version downloaded from the website but, please note this is Mac version (my appologies as I have not noticed that this is Windows section). I can open : opera://cast but my browser is not finding my Chromecast device.

@the1avi Thank you for your message. I think this restriction is only for few countries like US where the Chromecast option is not even available.

The Chromecast is turned on but Opera can't detect the device to cast (on other browser everything works).

1. Może to kwestia rozszerzeń? Może nie współpracują z Opera? Zgłosiłeś problem do dev Opery lub do Twórcy wtyczki? Na innych przeglądarkach działa?

2. Mam "Magnet" I wszystko działa jak należy. Myślę, że to kwestia problemów z OS.

3. To samo w konteście punktu 2. Opera działa chyba najlepiej na systemie.
