I have seen a line of new budget Nomi phones, with at least of 32 mb of internal memory and 32 mb of operative memory (despite I ask here what operative memory as well as internal consumes opera-mini 4.5). I think it should be enough?
Indeed I fear that opera mini 4.5 stopped of production - as I do not see any answer here?!
Although the 2g traffic speed should be some bottleneck, as well I do not know should these Nomi phones support
java jar apps??

Memory requirements for opera-mini 4.5Other phones
I want to know what is minimum phone memory requirements for installing and using opera-mini 4.5.
Once I was used opera-mini 3.2 untill about 2014 when its support was deprecated. My old Nokia 2 mb was enough to use, where the download opera 3.2 jar was about 110k. But when I tried to install opera-mini 4.5 at that time, the download size was something more, but not more 140-150 kb, but 2mb overall memory was too few to use opera-mini 4.5. Probably no more then to browse google search site, other sites could not be browsed, and could even to lead to firmware/memory crash. After that I used Ucweb lite browser, indeed in the last 1-2 years i was unable to login to my national email accounts, due to obsoleteness of such mobile browser. In the last month there is even no opportunity to renew jar file and probably download new one, and no channel to ask if maintanenance stopped.
So what is minimum (and standart) operative memory requirements for opera-mini 4.5 for budget phones?
Need to know to find new phone model. -
RE: Cannot use opera-mini emulatorOpera Mini
Online emulator http://demo.opera-mini.net/public/ works - so it is independent on browser java plugin - as microemulator doesnt work, as browser use outdated java plugin, and as it is said on Oracle java check - Mozilla 52 versions on - does not use java plugins.

RE: Cannot use opera-mini emulatorOpera Mini
But now - after probably some recent improvements on emulator server- it works again - on more recent Mozilla, as well as on older Opera browser!

RE: Cannot use opera-mini emulatorOpera Mini
So earlier (on http://demo.opera-mini.net/public), except about 10 days, I got aforementioned warning about obsolete java - clicked Run, but not Update - and got opera-mini emulator window without null pointer exception.

RE: Cannot use opera-mini emulatorOpera Mini
In Mozilla 52.9 - I get now -
You need to have Java installed and enabled in your web browser to be able to view this demo. Download at http://java.sun.com -
In mozilla add-ons - see near Java Plug-in-
Java TM Platform SE 7 U79 is vulnerable and should be updated -
When I click Details - I got such link about blocking this version:

RE: Cannot use opera-mini emulatorOpera Mini
Something changed, but it doesn't work!
In old Opera 9.21 the - in big grey rectangle there initially appears - Apllet loading - and finally I get "Apllet not found" (in midth of probable emulator window where it worked once). In last years there were just first line in browser - "Not Found". So this and your browser should have internal java even it was discontinued but it is old browser where this emulator worked for years - 2012-2016. -
RE: Cannot use opera-mini emulatorOpera Mini
But I used old Opera browser but got "Not Found" these days at http://demo.opera-mini.net/public/. But When I tried to connect to this link on my old mobile phone that support jars app I got request to use Java so it seems that link is theoretically viable or what?
Who owns http://demo.opera-mini.net/public?
Maybe owner also discontinued to support as the most browsers do not support it?
