@leocg Yes, the speed dial I lost was in that location. Excellent.
@avl Thank you for the news. That is great to hear.

First of all, thank you so much for suggesting synchronization. I forgot all about that. I couldn't recover my speed dial, but I can see that all of my bookmarks have been recovered.
In regards to resetting the settings, is this option available for Mac users as well? Because I'm not seeing it.
For the last two weeks, Opera kept crashing a few times every day to simple clicks. Opening new tabs, clicking links, and pretty much any mouse command whatsoever. This applies to various websites, and I keep losing any tabs I have open or anything I'm doing at that moment. When I open Opera back up, everything I had open prior is gone. I'm afraid to type text or do anything now because of how much Opera is crashing.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Windows version of Opera has a feature in Settings > Browser > Show system color on top bar (http://www-static-blogs.operacdn.com/multi/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2016/01/color-off-and-on.png), but this is not the case for Mac; probably because the dock and menu bar do not have as much customization. I would however love a feature to change the color to the tab bar, because it creates more contrast. That, and a menu button like in Windows, I think Opera would be golden.
So you are new to Opera. The major reason why I prefer this browser over all others is because I feel it has the best organization. All the managers are right on the side of the speed dial (customize your start page to show all), and the Bookmarks manager comes very handy rather than to have them all in folders on your Bookmarks bar.
Since your plan is to switch to another browser, then they usually have an option to import bookmarks from another one used. You may not need to find the bookmarks location.
Off topic, but does anyone know how to change email preferences on this forum? I have different topics marked as "starred," but I am not getting notifications of further replies.
I am not really too fond of auto update either, though I do prefer the current version of Opera. However, if the current version does not fit your needs, I believe that there is a version history list somewhere where you can install a previous version. Just Google Opera followed by a number, but make sure you download from the Opera site.
