I figured out what was going wrong apparently Opera didn't like me using a bookmark to https://blu174.mail.live.com/ after creating a new bookmark which points to https://outlook.com instead it works fine it was to do with the Cert pointing mail.live.com and not to blu174.mail.live.com Opera did not like it

It just seemed funny that an previously working link (for years in Opera) worked fine then all of a sudden it stopped working right

Glad to hear it. You can import your bookmarks file without too much worry but for things like extensions and settings I would install/configure them from scratch.

I've found that by disabling hardware acceleration it does not lock the system up and plays flash content fine, although not ideal it works none the less I have since reported the issue to AMD oh and disabling Ublock and user agent switcher did not help
