Do more on the web, with a fast and secure browser!
Download Opera browser with:
After pressing synch you get the option to scroll thru logged devices & alter their speed dials (import / remove etc)
If you remove the second to last speed dial in a 4thumb , the last speed dial reverts to full size icon ok BUT
the legacy folder hangs & locks up the page
(necessitating a force stop in android>apps> opera >settings)
Occasionally have to clik thru to enormous stupid unoptimised sites...would like to be able to 'open without images'...maybe through
the dialogue after a long press on the link?
I thought we had this in settings previously.
Android certainly has it as a basic option with webview.

I often have to just close my phone / knock the wifi off. Could you add a setting where Opera force closes itself and dumps cache & data automatically.
Everytime I come back to my phone to start browsing, it loads all the often days old tabs that are no longer relevant at all, often using 2-3 Mb everytime.
@gregono It is a Duckduckgo 'privacy' challenge!
I think they don't have the server set-up that Google can afford, so limit what they send to conserve bandwidth.
Often on a page, I'll go to scroll it, or accidentally glance it with my paw, and bugger, I've hit a link & lost the page for the twenty seconds* Opera takes to recognise a clik, get it's ass into gear, go fetch, start to load..,,,,...
Is it possible to have a floating 'page lock' switch in the margin / header, that disables the links...
Innovative browser tech...
Memories of the 4.2 java operamini... that was the 'swiss army knife' of feature phone browsers. Worked perfectly with my.opera !
@claudio123 I always use a little android browser called naked browser... only 300Kb, for wifi logins., then open my preferred browser when I know the wifi's working.
It should be reverting to a 'Captive Portal' app, but some of these give similar login problems.
