<![CDATA[Opera 30 beta allows you to sync your Speed Dials]]>Hi, everyone!

We have just updated the beta channel to Opera 30.

We’re continuing to add new features to our sync service. This time, we’ve added a way to sync your devices’ Speed Dials.

This release contains:

  • Speed Dial synchronization
  • New context menus
  • Native Android text-selection menu
  • A Chromium upgrade to version 43
  • Various stability and usability improvements

The update has been pushed to Google Play and should be available very soon. Please download Opera 30 beta for Android from Google Play and leave us your feedback.

As of this release Chromium will no longer support Android ICS (4.0.x) but users with an older device can still download Opera 29.

Mine shows under Bookmark>other speed dials. But then what are you supposed to do with this? If you copy and paste to your speed dial it will copy as a bookmark and the navigation is poor.

I would suggest you remove the "sync speed dial' marketing blurb until it actually does.

We have just published a stability update on the beta channel. It will be available on Google Play within a few hours.
It includes fixes for a crash, issues with video controls and some other minor bugs.

Extensions does not sync because there is no extension support on Android. We will continue to extend our sync support in the coming versions.

All are lacking synchronization of all! Bookmarks, Express panels, history, passwords, extensions! Extensions are not synchronized. A Express panel, there is synchronization, but not comfortable. Is it supposed to be in Bookmarks, Settings or a folder on the Speed Dial page? Because it's in none of those places on either on my phones running Opera Beta 30.0.1856.92491

Sometimes when you have multiple devices and browsers it can get messy when you add and delete bookmarks or now speed dials. You simply lose track of what is the master copy of your bookmarks.
