<![CDATA[Any date release for password synchronization?]]>Hi, I just ask when will be released the password synchronization for Opera Chromium. I don't need to synchronize many data, the only indispensable for me are the bookmarks and the passwords.

I heard with Firefox and Thunderbird you can do the thing you say, Threatdown, switching between different operating systems (I did it with Firefox and Thunderbird between different distros), but not with Chromium browsers.

I agree, this should be one of the features in the first place, when they started with Opera Blink...
moder browser without sync (passwords and bookmarks) is seriously crippled
...and additionally, no way to transfer logins to another comp or when reinstalling OS, without using other browsers sync or third-party solutions

Copying the "Login Data" and "Login Data-journal" files from %appdata%/Opera Software/Opera [Channel] worked for me to transfer saved logins when I reinstalled windows (and to transfer them from opera stable to opera dev).

Not sure if it works when transferring between different OS's though (e.g. windows to osx)

Every month counts if Opera managers would like to gain some market share .

it's still experimental
bata and stable can't
it will take months for this to enter stable channel, considering current stable is still in version 29
