PDF layout buttons disappeared with Opera 31?

Hi people,
Unless I've messed up my mind and am confusing Opera and Chrome which I tried before Opera came back to the UNIX 32 bits world, I feel to remember there were layout option buttons appearing when moving the mouse somewhere on the PDF (the bottom, if I'm not wrong).
I don't see these buttons any‑more.
I wonder:

Am I wrong and there never were such buttons with Opera, only with Chrome?

Is there an option which is now required to be enabled?

Also zooming does not work any-more? This one, sure it worked before.
Is this a bug? Where should I submit this bug if it's really one?

and fwiw I'm getting the same thing here in opera dev, does look like it could be a bug.
as a workaround you could use the pdf.js extension: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/pdf-viewer/ personally I've found pdf.js more reliable than google's pdf reader, but of course ymmv

as a workaround you could use the pdf.js extension: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/pdf-viewer/ personally I've found pdf.js more reliable than google's pdf reader, but of course ymmvI tried PDF.js on Firefox, and it's slow, I feel (I often read or have an overview of long PDF, 150 to 200 pages).
Still nice to for other users to learn it's available on Opera, and nice to learn Opera is on Github (noticed in the second link).
Anyway, I'm not a plug-in fan, so will just wait for it to be fixed.
