is there a switch, maybe in .ini, where you can force these bookmarks to open in the normal browser window instead of the panel window?
cheers

if you do that in the bookmark bar, it only shows the url. but i actually need to see the title.

unfortunate that this doesnt work..

There's a button to open a panel as a tab, but you have to open it as a panel first. If you customize the top toolbar in the panel, under Buttons > Panels you'll see one that looks like >> ... you can drag that to the top toolbar and when you click it the displayed panel will open as a tab. But if you're trying to use the panel selector bar as a bookmark bar, that won't work.
