<![CDATA[Opera TV store- is it specific to TV models]]>I bought a Sony Bravia TV KDL 40R510C and I am not able to see some apps in the Opera TV store e.g. YuppTV, Facebook, BBC etc while I can see a host of others. Sony support tells me that the apps you can see ona TV are model specific and I can't see these apps. It is a 2015 model so I do not need to register on sony essentials or anywhere. I am not sure if the Opera TV store is model specific. Can someone please throw some light on this? How can a software be TV model specific?

It is very frustrating as I have this TV almost a month now and cannot do anything with it except go to youtube. Can someone please help me to get this sorted out as soon as possible?

We've already informed CSP about fact that it does not work on Sony Bravias TVs 2015.

yes, the array of available apps is different on different devices. The devices differ in hardware and software, and so not all apps work on all devices.
The apps that you have mentioned were not yet tested for the model.
They should be available soon, however I cannot give you any timetable for that, due to the unpredictable nature of how apps behave on various devices.
