I'm experiencing a weird issue when creating a new search engine from the search engine in JIRA (bugtracking web application).

I simply right click on the quick search box (which is located at the right top)
Choose "Create search engine"
Set it up (with the default options and assign j as keyword)

When I now try to search for something with the keyword it gives me the correct result, but when I press edit a field in JIRA I get the message:

The JIRA server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.
Close this dialog and press refresh in your browser

Refreshing the page doesn't work. However, opening a new ticket in the same tab (without using the search) does work. Also copy/past the URL works fine.
A short video on the issue: YouTube watch?v=MRkR-PWlP-o

I hope this is clear and that someone can help me with this. It annoys me as hell as I relay a lot of on the search engine.

Thanks
