I can't be 100% sure, but on my dev 31 version recently closed section seems to remember previous state, even over opera restart. Currenly it is open; I 've not touched it today (yet)

Thanks, indeed! Even after closing of a window of the menu of recently closed tabs remains open! Ouch yes, good fellows developers, pleased 🙂 Now to make this menu is wider and that the history of the closed tabs wasn't cleaned off when closing a window))))

You don't even have to add an entry in settings, you can just add a "toggle closed/open by default" when you right click on the expander, so to say.
