Is it likely that Norton Internet Security is interrupting the download? If so, how can Norton be configured to allow these extensions? I've tried, but can't figure out how. TIA!</p>

Since you suspect that it may be at fault. I know that F-Secure’s AV product can cause problems like this with downloads in Steam and Opera.</p>

<ol>
<li>Go to opera://flags/#addons-detailed-errors</li>
<li>Enable 'Detailed error information on the addons website' flag</li>
<li>Restart Opera</li>
<li>Try to download extension again</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto">You can also try Opera Developer[2] which has an experimental workaround for a problem with saving extension downloads.</p>
