<![CDATA[New Opera Mini for Android has keyboard bug]]>After writing a thoughtful bug report to the e-mail address Opera provides in Google Play, I got a generic bounce-back saying I wrote it for nothing and to look into this forum. Why supply an e-mail address if it's being ignored? Anyway, here goes...

Clicking the search bar brings up the on-screen keyboard, but WITHOUT its auto-correct suggestions line above the top row of keys. This is a significant usability regression from the previous version. It's now impossible to correct as we type (except by letting Google's suggestions handle them, which is network-intensive and doesn't include my keyboard's custom dictionary of course). This becomes especially painful when swiping, where one frequently needs to use some alternate suggestion within the keyboard.

I'm hoping that this bug report will be noticed and that this regression will be corrected soon, as it seriously impedes my ability to search with Opera Mini, which is its single most important use for me.

Do you think I should duplicate this post in there, or is this here sufficient to gather attention from the appropriate people this time?

Posting here should be enough i guess but on the report page they will have some info about your device, which may be helpful to reproduce and fix the issue.

So i guess that reporting also there won't hurt.

Or maybe you can post the specs here.
