Opera looks different and apparently now all homepages look like shit because links in text are somehow bigger than text around. Also at some points text reaches into pictures.<br />
Freshly downloaded Firefox shows all the messed up pages without these bugs.</p>
<p dir="auto">Anyways, where are the update settings hidden in Opera 29.0? I can't find them!</p>
<p dir="auto">I am back to Firefox for now. Opera is becoming more weird every day.</p>

You can check in the Opera Menu under Zoom.</p>
<p dir="auto">As to your question, Opera updates itself automatically. They don't want you turning it off so its not an simple process. IIRC you have to disable the update process in the Windows task scheduler and rename the updater file in an Opera directory (I can't remember where).</p>
