The FAQ indicates that it doesn't read the https traffic to optimize it but doesn't say anything about the VPN tunnel itself being encrypted.  This really needs to be the case.</p>

<p dir="auto">As I'd like to use Opera Max for cell data due to the compression, but am leary for free wifi where I'd would prefer to use a VPN with encryption (like the options listed above).</p>
