I have an Alcatel OT-983 (Android 2.3.7). Is it compatible with OM8 (8.0.1807.91281)? On install, I cannot get past an "Unable to connect to the internet - Retry" after the big "O" has nearly filled up. Same if I try running beta.

Wifi is enabled (tried connecting via two landline DSL and mi-fi router, am in UK) and other net apps, including previous Opera Mini (7.6.4), work fine. Hitting retry/restarting/clearing data/rebooting phone/reinstalling do not help.

I filled in a bug report at https://bugs.opera.com/wizardmini/ (ID 99812) but I might have used wrong form as no option for Opera 8.0 for Android?
