I hope that I didn't miss a thread regarding this topic while searching this forum. If so a relink would be nice.

My problem is the following: I entered a site which I planned to open in the private window but didn't. I cleared the specific items from the browser history by clicking the x on the right side of the search entries. Still Opera suggests this particular site when typing the first few letters of the address.

Is there any chance to get rid of this behavior without killing my complete history and search suggestions or on the other side enter an other site with similar letters at the start a few thousand times to "overwrite" the unwanted entry?

Hope someone knows a trick

ah, before I forget: I encountered the exact same problem a year ago with the 12.xx and the solution back then was to alter an entry in an *.ini but unfortunately I can't remember which one.

Thanks for reading and sorry for typos and stuff ; )

It used to be Ctrl-Del or something like that.
